I am guessing that you are here because you are tired.

You know you are ready for change. You have been thinking about starting therapy for some time, but haven’t known where to start. Change can be hard and the first step forward is the hardest, but the fact that you are here means that you have already taken that first step.

“Hi, I am Dr. Alli Delozier. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I am passionate about empowering individuals in building the happiest, most authentic version of themselves so that they can feel confident in who they are, connected to themselves and others, and excited about their future.

While I love to work with adults of all ages, including mothers and those navigating life transitions, I recognize that young adults often lack access to therapists who are specifically equipped to work with them. This is why much of my work is dedicated to supporting them. If you think we would be a good fit to work together, I encourage you to reach out regardless of your age.

I am also passionate about helping families and individual find peace with food through the treatment of picky eating and ARFID. I have expertise in behavioral methods to support feeding challenges in kids and adults and have contributed to discussions about picky eating and mealtimes that have been featured on major online publications. If you are struggling with picky eating that impacts your life, know that it is not your fault and you deserve support from someone who understands.”

Change is within reach. Let’s get started, together.

Therapy for Teens & Young Adults

Young adults face challenges unlike those of other age groups. They deserve a therapist who understands that and is prepared to walk alongside them, helping them navigate their future.

Today’s young people are expected to know more, do more, be more than ever before. It's uncharted territory - both for adolescents and young adults and their parents. And, unfortunately, this age group is often left out of the therapy conversation.

Most therapists specialize in either working with children or established adults. Few specialize in navigating the unique cultural factors facing teens, 20-, and even 30-somethings - leaving this age group feeling left out and on their own during the most defining decades in life.

I sincerely love working with teens and young adults. It is why I have spent the last decade of my life working with this age group, and it is why I have trained extensively in therapeutic techniques to support them.

It is also why my services are 100% online. Today’s teens and 20-30-somethings are busier than ever. Online therapy gives them the chances to prioritize their self-care in a way that fits into their lives.

If you are ready to stop surviving and start thriving, you are in the right place.

About Dr. Delozier

I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University (OSU) where I trained to work with both adults and minors, completing specialties in pediatric and child psychology. My graduate work at OSU included the integration of physical and emotional health and using parent-based interventions to improve family outcomes. I quickly found a passion for working with adolescents and young adults. I then completed predoctoral residency and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), where I applied this knowledge to underserved populations. As an instructor and Assistant Professor of Psychology I specialized in health/pediatric psychology, working with diverse adolescents, addiction prevention and treatment, and the development of affirming multidisciplinary healthcare policies. I have also worked as a health psychologist for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma where I provided holistic behavioral and psychological support to the community within the primary care setting. I have a passion for nutrition and experience in treating feeding and eating problems in children, including ARFID.

In 2020 I moved back home to Oklahoma with my family. I spend my non-working time spending time with my kids, experimenting with recipes, and (on occasion) reading a good book.

I regularly consult and write for Kids Eat in Color and you can find my work on talking with kids about health, weight, and food featured on CNN.com, HLN, and Weekend Express.

In addition to being licensed for in-person and virtual services in Oklahoma and Mississippi, I am approved to conduct interjurisdictional Telepsychology as part of PSYPACT in 39 participating states/jurisdictions.
